Infinity Institute implemented a student-led climate improvement program called No Place for Hate.
The goal of the program is to cultivate student leadership, unite the school community, and engage students and staff in active learning. At the start of the year, the program requires that we create a strong committee wherein students are placed in the driver's seat to build a movement towards positive change in our school's climate.
Moreover, the school administration held grade level and staff meetings to introduce the program and to discuss its connection to the school's vision. At the conclusion of the meetings, each student and staff member signed and received a copy of the No Place for Hate Pledge to rally the school community around the program and commit to doing their part to make our school No Place for Hate.
During the 2024-2025 school year, the school participated in classroom level discussion-based and active-learning activities to examine identities, reflect on biased behavior, and learn new ways to challenge bias and bullying in themselves, others and society. Due to their participation, Infinity Institute has been designated as a Gold Star No Place for Hate School for the 2023-24 School Year!
Congratulations.
