Infinity 8th Grader Earns National Recognition in Mathematics Competitions

The Infinity community is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Kavin Kumarappan, an 8th grade student who has demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication in mathematics.

Kavin scored an impressive 22 on the American Mathematics Competition (AMC), earning Honor Roll recognition in the regional chapter at Rutgers University and placing him in the top 5% nationally. In addition, he achieved a remarkable score of 94.5 on the AMC 10A, earning the Achievement Roll certificate, an honor awarded to eighth grade students who score above 90 on this challenging high school-level exam.

Kavin’s success extends beyond the AMC. In the Mathcounts Bergen/Hudson Chapter competition, he was selected among the top 10 competitors to advance to the highly competitive Countdown Round, further highlighting his problem-solving skills and mathematical excellence.

Kavin has consistently excelled in both mathematics and science and is recognized as an outstanding scholar within the school community. His achievements reflect hard work, perseverance, and a passion for learning.
